Educator Externship June 23-27, 2025

EE's open the door for educators (from any subject area*) to go behind the scenes at 10 different companies and training facilities related to the Manufacturing, Tech, and Construction sectors.

18 MS and HS educators will be selected from the registrant pool. 

Participants must be available the entire week, June 23-27, 2025 (approx. 8 AM-4 PM, M-F).

If you haven't recently participated in an Educator Externship (EE), we encourage you to register!

*EE is valuable for Career & College Coordinators, MS and HS Teachers - CTE, ELD, Electives, STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math), and any educator who encourages students to engage in career conversations!

"The most impactful thing I can share is the field trip opportunities that exist, so students can see what I saw - so much easier to envision a job/career when you can actually see it."

Paid to make a difference

 

More than 30 educators from the SMSP region participated in a weeklong Educator Externship (EE) in June 2024. They toured construction job sites, talked with trades people, and learned that our students can “Earn while they Learn” in apprenticeships and training programs!

 

This terrific opportunity will be back in June 2025
