What: Move from table-to-table for brief conversations and hands-on demonstrations with local industry professionals who support career exploration in ALL classrooms. Bring ideas and resources back to do with your class in 2024-25. Learn what students need to know to get started on these career paths. Connect with professionals for future guest speakers and field trip opportunities.
Why: Bring your colleagues to learn what local companies do. Relate this to standards and student career aspirations. Develop a culture of educator-industry collaboration. Gain authentic answers to students’ question, "Why will I ever need to know this?" through real-world examples.
Receive: 3 PDUs plus a $150 stipend for SMSP teachers.
